Prompt Health acquisition of PredictionHealth FAQs

What is the reason behind this acquisition?

Prompt Health (“Prompt”) has acquired PredictionHealth, a company known for its AI-powered clinical documentation and compliance tools. The merger of Prompt and PredictionHealth strengthens an existing partnership and accelerates Prompt’s ability to deliver intelligent, automated solutions for rehab therapy practices.

Who is acquiring whom?

Prompt acquired PredictionHealth through a merger. This means that Prompt now owns and operates  the proprietary PredictionHealth AI tools (such as Sidekick and Intel), technology infrastructure, and team. PredictionHealth’s engineering, product, and clinical informatics functions, as well as its existing product suite, have all merged into Prompt.

When is the acquisition taking place?

The acquisition closed in Q2 2025. Integration efforts are underway and will continue through the second half of the year.

Why is it happening?

This acquisition advances Prompt’s mission to drive extraordinary outcomes for healthcare businesses and their patients. By adding PredictionHealth’s AI scribe, coding, compliance and intelligence capabilities to Prompt’s AI-powered rehab therapy operations platform, which consists of Scheduling, Documentation, Billing, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Patient Acquisition & Retention, Operations, Patient Satisfaction, and RCM Billing Services, , Prompt can accelerate innovation and deliver greater value to its customers.

What is the vision behind the acquisition?

The combined company aims to create a fully integrated, intelligent platform for rehab therapy practices. This platform will bring together EMR workflows, automation, real-time compliance feedback, and business intelligence with the goal of making it easier for clinicians and operators to focus on outcomes, not administration.

How does this fit into Prompt’s long-term strategy?

The acquisition supports Prompt’s evolution from an EMR provider to a comprehensive practice operations platform for rehab therapy. It allows Prompt to deliver:

  • Expanded AI capabilities across every user type
  • Deeper operational insights
  • Enhanced automation

How will this acquisition help providers deliver better care or grow their practice?

Prompt has always been more than just an EMR—we’ve been at the forefront of integrating AI directly into the clinical workflow to reduce administrative burden, improve patient outcomes, and drive practice growth. Our platform today powers the full clinic lifecycle with intelligent, interconnected tools across:

  • Scheduling: AI no-show prediction, automated reminders, AI-powered waitlists
  • Documentation: AI-generated intake forms, evaluations, and case summaries
  • Billing: automated claims submission, clean claims auto-posting, integrated payments
  • Reporting & Business Intelligence
  • Patient Acquisition & Retention: automated outreach, online reviews, drip marketing, student placement
  • Operations: HIPAA-compliant clinic chat, task management, kiosk check-in
  • Patient Satisfaction: surveys and AI-assisted review workflows
  • RCM Billing Services

What sets Prompt apart—and what makes this acquisition such a significant move for the industry—is our shared philosophy with PredictionHealth around deep, native AI integration. Both companies have built AI into the core of their products, not as bolt-ons, but as intuitive, embedded components of everyday clinic workflows.

By bringing together two best-in-class AI solutions, we’re unlocking an even more powerful and comprehensive experience for providers, making Prompt the clear leader in intelligent clinic infrastructure. This means faster workflows, smarter decisions, and better care, all while helping practices grow efficiently and sustainably.

How does this benefit Prompt and PredictionHealth’s customers?

This acquisition brings together two companies that share a common goal: to simplify operations, enhance patient care, and empower clinics to grow. For customers of both Prompt and Prediction Health, this means access to a more powerful, more integrated platform built on best-in-class tools and a shared commitment to innovation.

Prompt customers will benefit from expanded capabilities that fill key workflow gaps, while PredictionHealth’s customers gain access to a broader suite of tools—spanning scheduling, documentation, billing, patient engagement, reporting, and more—within a proven, AI-powered platform.

Both companies have deeply embedded AI into the core of their products—not as add-ons, but as intuitive, workflow-native tools. By uniting these strengths, we’re delivering even more intelligent, efficient, and seamless experiences that allow providers to spend less time on admin and more time on care.

Ultimately, this move creates a win-win: faster innovation, greater value, and a more comprehensive solution for every clinic we serve.

How will this acquisition enhance Prompt’s offerings?

This acquisition strengthens Prompt’s position as the most comprehensive, intelligent platform for rehab therapy practices. While Prompt already offers end-to-end capabilities across scheduling, documentation, billing, reporting, patient engagement, and operations—with AI deeply integrated throughout—this acquisition adds tools that complement and extend our existing platform.

By bringing on PredictionHealth’s best-in-class technology, we’re enhancing our offering in critical areas that align with our customers’ evolving needs. Most importantly, both companies share a deep commitment to embedding AI natively into clinic workflows—not just as a feature, but as a foundation. This means smarter automations, better decision support, and a more seamless experience for clinicians and staff.

Together, we’re accelerating our roadmap and delivering even more value to our customers—without adding complexity. The result is a more powerful, tightly integrated solution that helps providers work faster, grow stronger, and deliver even better care.

Looking ahead, our focus is on deepening this integration to deliver even more value through tighter workflows, enhanced automation, and expanded AI-powered features. The combined Prompt and PredictionHealth team is committed to embedding AI directly into the clinic experience, and we’ll continue building on that to help providers work more efficiently, make smarter decisions, and deliver better care—all within one unified, intelligent platform.

What can customers expect from Prompt in the next 6–12 months?

Over the next 6–12 months, customers can expect even deeper investments in the things that matter most: simplifying workflows, improving patient outcomes, and helping clinics grow—all powered by intelligent, embedded AI.

Our product roadmap remains tightly focused on delivering real, meaningful impact. If a feature doesn’t benefit patients, providers, administrators or billers, we don’t build it. That clarity allows us to move faster, stay aligned with what practices actually need, and avoid distractions that don’t serve our mission.

You’ll continue to see AI infused throughout the platform in ways that feel natural—not forced. From predictive scheduling and automated documentation to smarter billing and patient engagement, we’re focused on eliminating administrative noise so providers can focus on care.

As an independently led company, we’re not constrained by short-term investor goals. Our commitment is—and has always been—to building the most practice-centric platform in the industry. This acquisition is only accelerating that mission.

Will support contacts or processes change?

No, there will be no immediate changes to support contacts or processes. Customers should continue reaching out through the same channels they’ve always used.

Over time, we’ll be thoughtfully aligning our support teams to ensure the experience feels as seamless and responsive as ever. These updates will happen behind the scenes, with the goal of making things easier for you, not more complicated. Our commitment to top-tier support remains unchanged, and you won’t need to learn new systems or processes to get the help you need.

Will we be migrating systems, platforms, or infrastructure?

No, there are no immediate plans to migrate systems, platforms, or infrastructure. Customers can continue using the existing platform as they always have, with the same access, workflows, and support. As part of the integration, Prompt will introduce single sign-on (SSO) with PredictionHealth's tools, making it easier for users to access both platforms. Any future enhancements or integrations will be communicated well in advance and designed to be seamless and non-disruptive.

How will you ensure business continuity during the transition?

Day-to-day operations will continue exactly as they are—no interruptions, no changes to your workflows, and no new systems to learn. Both Prompt and PredictionHealth have reliable, proven platforms, and customers can expect the same consistent experience they’ve always had.

What makes this even stronger is our industry-leading Success team. Known for going beyond basic support, they work closely with clinics to ensure they’re getting maximum value from the platform. That high-touch, proactive service will remain a cornerstone of the experience moving forward.

As we bring our teams and systems closer together over time, our focus will be on making things even smoother for you behind the scenes—without adding complexity or disruption. You’ll continue to get the same great tools, the same trusted support, and now, even more value.
